The Team

The Marketing Team is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm's marketing strategy, including profile and reputation, marketing communications, and business development. This also extends to all aspects of marketing planning, brand management, communications, events, CRM, business and market analysis, and business development, including pitches and tenders.

Scope

We are looking for an organised Marketing Communications Assistant who can demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm to support the team with a breadth of marketing communication activities. There will be opportunities to be involved in exciting projects and training will be provided across technical systems.

Responsibilities

Digital, Web & Intranet

  • Assist with editing the intranet and uploading content to the website.
  • Coordinate firm's photography sessions and upload approved headshots to the website and IT systems.

Campaigns, Social & Reporting

  • Assist with the creation and delivery of email campaigns to support client acquisition and retention.
  • Produce email campaign statistics and track social, and website analytics.

Legal Directories & Awards

  • Support recognition and awareness of our firm and legal experts by assisting with legal directory and award submissions.

Administration

  • Process invoices and expenses.
  • Organise meetings.
  • Assist with internal/external events logistics and merchandise when approved.
  • Monitor inboxes, ensuring queries are directed appropriately.

Person Specification

  • The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have a strong, genuine interest in marketing and professional services
  • Quick to learn, innovative and creative, with an eye for detail
  • Strong organisational skills and able to multi-task and prioritise work efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong spelling, grammar and proofreading skills
  • A strong team player who can work on their own initiative and collaboratively alongside others

Education and Qualifications

  • Qualified to A Level or above
  • Demonstrate experience/desire for a career in marketing

Special aspects

The hours of work for this opportunity are 09:30am-5:30pm but it is essential to be committed, flexible and prepared to work beyond the normal office hours when necessary and in response to client demand. The firm operates an agile working framework under which members of the firm are expected to spend at least 40% of their working hours in the office. This is a minimum expectation: individuals may elect or be asked or expected to work more frequently in the office, depending on circumstance.
