Legal Biller

If you're an experienced Legal Biller looking to work for an international law firm, you could be interested in this opportunity! My client, a global law firm specialising in litigation and dispute resolution, are looking for a Legal Biller to join their finance team in Sheffield.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure that fee earners are fully compliant with comprehensive time recording policies
• Register all disbursements to ensure accurate defence costs
• Check charge rates and ensure compliance with SLAs
• Liaise with members of the finance team to ensure all billing information is up to date on accounts system
• Maintain matter budgets and resolve billing related issues
• Produce and circulate WIP reports
• Draft interim and final bills
• Process any amendments and permanently change billing set-up where appropriate

Key requirements:

• Previous experience of billing within the legal sector is essential
• Knowledge of Elite3e
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
