Internal Communications Executive

A renowned silver circle law firm is looking for a talented Internal Communications executive to join their collaborative team! The internal communications team plays a vital role in supporting the firm's excellent culture and connecting the firm. The internal communications executive will work with colleagues, including senior leaders, across the firm, to shape and deliver clear and engaging communications in support of firm priorities. Reporting to the senior internal communications manager, as part of a small team you'll have lots of autonomy to build and develop your role.

The role

The internal communications executive is responsible for supporting effective internal communications at the firm, as well as helping them communicate their employee value proposition externally through social media and the website.

You'll be:

 sourcing stories that showcase the firms culture and using this core content to create communications for the firms internal audience, as well as for social media and the website. These include news stories, interviews and profiles, podcasts, and videos;

 working with colleagues across the firm to help them communicate their messages in the most effective way - advising on channels and timings, and providing drafting and proofing support when necessary;

 creating and publishing articles for the firms intranet

 helping to deliver engagement plans around key firm priorities such as sustainability;

 organising and recording podcasts, and working with the team to create videos to support key messages;

 managing the firms comms calendar to help make sure they are co-ordinating communications and maximising opportunities internally and externally;

About you

The firm is ideally looking for someone with previous experience as an internal communications or communications executive/assistant within a corporate environment.

Key skills:

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly copywriting skills;

 You will work accurately with a strong attention to detail;

 builds relationships and works collaboratively with colleagues from across the firm;

 You will have the ability to plan and manage several projects at any one time;

 able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; able to manage expectations when priorities conflict;

 Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
