A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Marketing & BD to join a leading professional services firm on an interim basis for 14 months.

This firm are dynamic, progressive and forward thinking and are enjoying continued growth and success. They have a clear strategic plan and objectives for the future and the Head of Marketing & Business Development will work closely with the senior leadership team to drive these objectives.

The business encourages their people to challenge the status quo and bring innovation and ideas to the table, so the successful candidate will play an integral part in the continued development and implementation of the UK Marketing, business development and communications strategy.

The Head of Marketing & Business Development will also work with business leaders and teams nationally to build and maintain strategic, sustainable and profitable client relationships, increase brand awareness and positioning. The successful candidate will also be part of a global network of marketing professionals, working on key international strategies as required.

This Head of Marketing & Business Development will head up a national team of high performing BD & Marketing professionals, so previous management experience is a must.

The successful candidate will be able to work both strategically and tactically, be comfortable with regular exposure to Board and Senior Leaders and have demonstrable experience of implementing and leading marketing strategy and initiatives in a national business, with exposure Internationally.

To be successful in this Head of Marketing & Business Development role, you will need to demonstrate:

• A collaborative working style
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with tangible delivery
• A track record of implementing work winning BD & marketing strategies
• Strong previous senior level experience in a similar role gained in a Real Estate or wider Professional Services environment
• Able to start a new role immediately and commit to a 14-month contract
