Graduate Insolvency Administrator - Guernsey

If so then you could be perfect for my client, as they're looking to recruit a new Graduate Insolvency Executive for their business.

The Role:

In the Graduate Insolvency Executive role you'll report to the Director and will be primarily responsible for assisting a team that deals with businesses and individuals that have gone into an insolvency process such as liquidation or bankruptcy. The team's role is to recover value for creditors of the business or individual. The role involves supporting experienced staff with case management and compliance with both legal and best practice requirements.

Specific tasks include:

  • Making occasional client contact in conjunction with managers
  • Dealing with creditor and other enquiries relating to insolvency cases
  • Dealing with external agents and advisers on routine matters
  • Analytical reviews of information to facilitate case strategy or to fulfil reporting requirements
  • Administering a case portfolio, ensuring all statutory, regulatory, and internal procedures are followed and deadlines are met

This position is based in the company's St. Peters Port, Guernsey office, so please ensure that's within a reasonable commutable distance for you before you apply.

To that end, the business will also fully support you in studying for an ACCA or ACA, should that be something you wish to pursue.

The Candidate:

To be considered for this Graduate Insolvency Executive role you'll need a minimum 2.1 degree.

You'll also need to be able to demonstrate that you're an ambitious and highly motivated individual who can effectively manage deadlines.

You'll need to have 3 A-levels (grades A-B) and GCSEs must include English and Maths.

In addition, it's really important that you possess the following:

  • Good time management skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good analytical skills

The Package:

The basic salary for the Graduate Insolvency Executive role is between £25,000 - £27,000 per annum depending on experience.

You'll also get the additional benefit of fully funded study support for accountancy exams with a salary increase in line with every exam passed with the role.
