Global Head of BD - Legal Technology

Ambition are very excited to be working on a real standout marketing opportunity within the Legal world, to engage an experienced and innovative marketing professional who can be a Global Head for the firms Legal technology solutions. The role has a truly global feel and the firm was a pioneer in these area of legal tech development, making this opportunity standout hugely within the Legal marketing space.

The role will be working with an impressive group of leaders, most of whom have come from an industry background so the environment and role will feel like operating in more a start-up operation than a traditional law firm, which again marks this out as an exciting and rare opportunity. Markets you will operate across will be as varied as providing consulting advice to leading financial organisations to working on funding for new start-up businesses.

We see this as attracting experienced product marketers who have a passion for technology, AI and more broadly innovation, who have a depth of experience of utilising these core skills and technical knowledge from within a large corporate B2B environment. The reporting structure will ensure you work very closely with firms overall leadership team, with a line into the Global CMO and a seat at the leadership table.

Core aspects of this role will include;

• Developing and implementing a global marketing plan for the firms legal technology offering, working in tandem with the CMO to get this approved and implemented. The plan should focus on current and target markets, reputational management, thought leadership amongst other marketing tools and activities.
• Working internally to advance the consulting arms visibility amongst the firms partnership, ensuring that the product offering of Legal technology can be utilised amongst the firms sector focuses and obtaining internal engagement of the benefits of pushing the legal tech products.
• Be visible amongst the firms clients, becoming a central figure on the legal technology side and how this can help position the firm further with current and potential clients across a variety of different markets. You will be able to work closely with the internal client development team to this end.
• Play a key role in the global marketing leadership team, offering advice and suggestions on how legal technology can enhance the work the current BD and Marketing professionals are currently doing.
