Global Business Development Lead - London or Chicago

Ambition are excited to be working with a prestigious law firm for a Global lead role for one of our key clients, the role will have a diverse geographical remit spanning EMEA, Asia Pac and North America. You will be the main point of contact for a pivotal global group for the firm and becoming a trusted advisor to the global co-chair.

Within the role you will also have people management responsibilities for a global team, which will include existing managers and executives dedicated to this sector area. We are therefore looking for someone to have had some prior people management experience.

In terms of professional background, we are looking to engage BD professionals who have been operating at Senior management level/Head of sector, if current or previous roles include managing a global team that would be highly advantageous.

Core responsibilities include;

• Working with the global chair and steering committee you will be responsible for setting and implementing the marketing budgets and BD plans.
• Work within the firm's client model, to develop market leading client value propositions to drive client growth across the sector by exploring new clients and maximising cross selling across the global fee earners.
• Leading collaboration with the firms global communications team to put together an efficient and effective communications and media plan to enhance the firms brand a reputation in specific locations and markets.
• Partner with the global bid function acting in an advisory capacity on the high value tenders relevant for the sector group, pulling together global information to support the process.
