Financial Systems Analyst

Ambition is representing an International Law Firm who are currently in search for a driven Finance Systems Analyst to be an integral member of their team. As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will have the opportunity to provide global support and assist the team with project work including application testing on software upgrades and evaluation of new products. The firm are currently undergoing an exciting growth project and the team are at the forefront of reimplementing their finance systems, this role will also enable the individual to be involved in the full scope of finance systems.

Extensive internal training will be provided and the firm supports a flexible working environment.

As a Finance Systems Analyst some of your responsibilities include:

• Managing and dealing with the support issues logged for the financial systems team. Second level support to the accounts departments internationally and other Aderant Expert users.
• Working as part of a team ensuring support & project workloads are balanced and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Query Aderant Expert database using SQL.
• Liaising with the IT and Finance departments.
• Month end procedures and routines - time and billing, general ledger close.
• Liaising with the software supplier.
• Setting up new offices, mergers and lateral hires.
• Review, test and deploy new and future functionality within Aderant Expert & ancillary systems.
• Testing application upgrades.
• Aderant Expert Generic importer (data load from third party applications) - Ensuring that the tasks run as scheduled and fixing any issues.
• Maintenance of the matter planning module e.g. creating of phases and tasks (via scripting).
• Technical support of ARCS 2G (collections software) & the eBilling Hub.

To be successful in this Finance Systems Analyst position, some of the requirements include:

• Experienced Finance Systems Analyst within the Legal sector or Professional Services
• Good knowledge of Finance or Legal system
• Good analytical and financial skills
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
