Financial Operations Assistant

I am working with an established law firm in their search for a Financial and Operations Assistant to join their City of London office. The role works closely with the Accounts Payable and Cashiering team.

Duties of the role:

• Produce monthly prebills, draft and finalize bills for attorney's review. Generate on-demand transactional and closing prebills, draft and final bills in a speedy manner.
• Ensure partners are updated on billing related issues.
• Review cost entries for compliance with billing guidelines and recommends corrections and changes to current processes.
• Obtain approved write-offs as needed.
• Act as a resource to other members of the billing function.
• Work with the Collections team to ensure proactive follow-up on all aged invoices and resolution to any aged ones.

The right candidate will have:

• University degree preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years in a legal accounting position preferred.
• Aderant experience preferred.
• Analytical and organised.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment.
