Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: London
Package: Up to £60,000 + benefits

An innovative firm with an ambitious growth plan is looking for a driven Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the funding strategy and long - term financial security. During your role as a Financial Controller you will be provided with excellent reward and recognition programmes with the ability to develop further in your career. The Financial Controller will be responsible for payroll, reporting, consolidation, bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasts. The firm supports a global client base, with highly skilled individuals working in a fast paces and dynamic business.

As the Financial Controller some of your responsibilities include:

  • Financial analyses to determine the present and forecasted financial status of the company
  • Preparing and publishing the firm's financial documents
  • Adhering to financial regulations and publishing firms' financial documents
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance to the governance and statutory requirements
  • Systems administration of XLedger and using payroll system ADP
  • Working on P&L accounts and the balance sheet reconciliations
  • Reconciling pension, benefit and HMRC payments
  • Management of statutory regulation changes whilst adhering to internal payroll policies

To be successful in this Financial Controller position, some of the requirements include:

  • ACA,ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Good awareness of accounting legislation principles
  • Strong cash flow forecasting, consolidation, reporting and management skills
  • Excellent Excel skills is essential
  • Aderant experience is advantageous
  • Liaising confidently with staff at all levels with the business
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
