The Financial Accountant role requires a diligent individual who is qualified and has prior experience completing month-end management accounts, year-end financial statements and payroll reconciliations.

As the Financial Accountant some of your responsibilities include:

• Posting and reconciliation of payroll accounts
• Updating of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management consolidated balance sheets
• Preparation of debtor and WIP reports for month-end reporting
• Working alongside the system analyst to produce quicker and more accurate reports
• Creation of year-end balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of the quarterly VAT return
• Regular review of significant balance sheet accounts
• Assistance with the preparation of yearly tax return workings
• Communication with heads and accountants of other offices
• Regular review of significant balance sheet accounts
• Assisting the financial controller with preparation of year-end financial statements and yearly audit process

To be successful in this Financial Accountant position, some of the requirements include:

• Qualified or Part - Qualified Financial Accountant with experience working in the Legal sector
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Aderant, SRA Account and VAT rules knowledge preferrable
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
• Ability to work in a dynamic team
