Finance System Administrator 14 month FTC

Our prestigious Law Firm clients are looking for a Finance Systems Administrator to join their Finance Systems Function on a 14 month fixed term contract basis. This role is fully remote.

The role:

  • Liaise with the firm's IT department and software suppliers to ensure that any issues are promptly identified and resolved.
  • Write and run SQL reports to extract and analyse data to satisfy regular and ad-hoc information requests.
  • Deliver system training to finance and non-finance staff on activities such as billing and reporting.
  • Ensure sufficient system controls exist to comply with SRA, AML and HMRC legislation.
  • Work with the Finance Systems Manager to assist with the implementation of a new PMS, including acceptance testing, data reconciliations, system settings, report creation and process documentation.
  • Provide cover for other members of the team as and when required.
  • Any other duties defined by management from time to time.

Key requirements:

  • Advanced MS Excel - essential
  • SQL skills - essential
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts - desirable
  • 2 years' relevant experience within a law firm - desirable
  • Relevant systems experience: Elite, Aderant, Norwel, InTapp Time, Quantum - desirable
