Finance Assistant

Ambition are representing a leading Law firm based in London. With offices across the globe, the firm have a high calibre of Lawyers and Professional Service Businesses. The firm are looking for a Finance Assistant looking to start their career in Finance and Accounting and will provide support and guidance along the way.

As a Finance Assistant, some of your responsibilities include:

  • Support the department to create purchase orders aligned with the defined controls and governance

  • Ensure goods are receipted accurately and invoices are processed promptly

  • Manage the financial reports and deliver insightful analysis for all interested stakeholders

  • Support the production of financial forecasts and annual budgets

To be successful in this role, some of the requirements include:

  • A years' experience in the finance department, an IT Assurance role or a recent Grad in Finance and Accounting

  • Proficient use of Excel & MS Office

  • A keen interest in technology and the part it plays in ensuring a business can operate efficiently

  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills enabling you to build solid professional relationships

  • To be able to use your own initiative, organised and proactive

  • Attention to detail and to be able to work accurately and efficiently
