Events Manager (FTC)


An award-winning city law firm is looking for a talented and personable Events Manager to work closely with their dynamic Marketing and Business Development team! You will get the chance to manage the events and corporate hospitality process from briefing, through to delivery and evaluation and to oversee the work of junior members within the events team. This is a great opportunity for a strong senior events executive who is looking to move on to a managerial role.
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with colleagues across BD & Marketing ensuring that all client and external-facing events are delivered to the highest possible standard.

  • You will be responsible for managing the junior members of the team, assisting with the development of their skills, capabilities, and progression.

  • Maintain the Events team tracking guide and guarantee that all enquiries and bookings are captured. Send annual reports as part of the events strategy process and update all business development managers as well as the Chief Marketing Officer contributing to the direction of each groups BD objectives.

  • Manage and report on budgets for all events and oversee the maintenance of the Events Calendar to ensure communications are sent regularly to partners and key stakeholders.

  • Create email invitations, compile invitation lists in InterAction, manage event registrations and create attendee lists for client events.
