Corporate Insolvency Associate Director - London

Ambition is working with a nationally recognised insolvency practice that are looking to hire at the senior level in their London office. With 2022 set to be a busy year for this firm they are looking to hire a new Manager/Associate Director. This firm has had a very successful year despite difficult market conditions and this looks set to continue next year.

You will be predominantly working on corporate insolvency cases with a mixture of non-contentious and contentious work that will also offer the opportunity to work on international assignments. You will be responsible for managing a small team of administrators across a range of formal appointments as well as nurturing each of their own individual careers.

Responsibilities:

• As Associate Director you will be instrumental in driving the business forward, overseeing both pre and post appointment delivery.
• You will be responsible for overseeing cases from cradle to grave.
• Overseeing a portfolio of insolvency appointments consisting of CVLs and MVLs, as well as Administrations, CVAs, CWUs, and occasional Bankruptcies.
• You will develop and maintain relationships with solicitors, agents and contractors as well as monitoring fees.
• You will be involved in pre-appointment work and director consultations.
• You will be responsible for preparing and presenting management information on progression of cases, matters that are arising within the business and potential billings within leadership team meetings.
• As part of the senior team, you will be responsible for staff development, such as team training.

Requirements:

• Being JIEB qualified is highly desirable.
• Previous experience managing a varied caseload from cradle to grave.
• You are confident in business development and leading client meetings.
• You are a strong manager with the proven ability to oversee and coach multiple members of staff which are working on multiple projects simultaneously.
