Corporate Finance Executive

Ambition are working closely with a top 100 Accountancy Practice that is looking to grow their Corporate Finance team in Cardiff. The candidate will support their Corporate Finance Partners by producing accurate commercial information, market research, and transaction process management.

The firm provides guidance on various aspects of corporate finance, including advising on buy-side and sell-side merger & acquisition transactions, as well as assisting with debt and equity fundraising.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting Partners in live transactions by preparing essential transaction documents.
• Leveraging our market-analysis software to identify potential clients through advanced filtering and financial analysis.
• Conducting research on current market trends, sector-specific movements, and M&A hotspots.
• Developing business plans, valuations, and advisory notes for both existing clients and prospective clients.

Skills:

• Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance-oriented role.
• A university degree with a minimum 2:1 classification from a Russell Group university is required.
• While existing corporate finance experience or qualifications are not mandatory, a strong interest in pursuing a career in corporate finance is essential.
