Corporate Finance Executive

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified accountant to make their first step into corporate finance. The role is based down towards Southampton and is with one of the UK's biggest accountancy firms.

This role is well suited to an Audit or Accounts Senior looking to move into mid-market corporate finance or a candidate with a corporate finance background who is looking for a growing team to join and make an impact.

The Corporate Finance department work on a range of transactions including financial due diligence, business sales and MBOs across an array of industries with businesses that range in size between £1m-£50m in turnover.

In essence, the role will involve you completing transaction support assignments, information memorandums for company sale, forecasts and pre-lending reviews.

Finding an entry level role within corporate finance is highly competitive and the key requirements for this position is for a qualified accountant holding the ACA or ACCA, strong interpersonal skills, an ability to engage commercially with clients and a background auditing or preparing the accounts of SME businesses.
