The Role: Business Revenue Assistant
The Opportunity: As the Business Revenue Assistant, you will assist Fee Earners in efficiently managing the firm's WIP and Debtors, meeting monthly with the Fee Earners and working with them to maximise monthly/timely billing and cash collection. You will use detailed knowledge and a proactive approach to highlight areas of exposure for the firm.
The Firm: Leading Law firm with stunning offices and facilities in the heart of London
Additional responsibilities:
Preparing monthly schedule for Business Manager providing a summary on all WIP and Debtors with a comment on the latest update/situation with those Clients/Matters under their responsibility.
Liaising with Partners and other fee earners to agree charge out rates
Ensuring all suspense and missing time is chased and submitted in a timely manner, in conjunction with the Centralised Billing Team.
Distributing Partners' WIP reports as requested and dealing with or delegating queries.
Attending monthly team meetings to provide updates on Departments/Teams standing and advising on potential progress for month and quarter ends.
Being pro-active, determined and tenacious to ensure meetings with fee earners take place regularly at the required times.
Skills Needed:
Experience of meeting with fee earners to discuss WIP and Credit Control
Experience of working a legal or professional services firm.
Familiar with both ARCS and Elite
Positive, organised and confident attitude
