Business Development Specialist - Private Equity (London & Europe)

A leading global law firm is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support its Private Equity practice across London and Europe. Reporting to the Senior BD Manager, this role is pivotal in driving strategic business development initiatives and enhancing market visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business and client development plans in collaboration with global BD teams.
  • Prepare pitches, proposals, and client-facing materials with tailored content and market insights.
  • Support client relationship management, including action plans and tracking BD activity.
  • Deliver market, client, and competitor research to inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain go-to-market materials, including presentations, lawyer bios, and matter records.
  • Coordinate thought leadership, directory submissions, and profile-raising initiatives.
  • Assist with planning and execution of client events, conferences, and sponsorships.

About You:

  • University graduate with a strong academic record.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in business development or client development within professional services (law firm experience advantageous).
  • Marketing or BD qualification (e.g., CIM) desirable.
  • Knowledge of Finance, Private Equity, and related sectors in UK/EU markets preferred.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
