Business Development Specialist

We are working in partnership with a leading international law firm to recruit a Business Development Specialist for their Milan office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented BD professional to join a dynamic team supporting strategic growth across Italy and internationally.

The Role

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality marketing and business development support across the firm's Milan and Rome offices. This includes:

• Supporting pitches, proposals, and RFP responses
• Coordinating marketing campaigns and digital communications
• Managing events (in-person, virtual, and hybrid) from concept to execution
• Drafting legal directory and award submissions
• Assisting with CRM best practices and client development initiatives
• Collaborating with internal teams on content creation and brand alignment
• Advising on social media optimisation and profile enhancement

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• At least 3 years' experience in marketing or BD, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
• A degree in marketing, business, or a related field (CIM qualification desirable)
