Business Development Manager ( Tax and Corporate)

A forward thinking International law firm are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their International Corporate and Tax Group on a permanent basis. The role will support both groups however will have a particular support on the Tax team. Therefore, the ideal candidate would have experience working within a Tax team or have a particular interest in this area. The purpose of the role is to build awareness, win new work and as well as strengthening new relationships.

As the successful Manager you will be involved with:

• Supporting the development and implementation of the marketing and BD plans for the groups
• Using your market and product knowledge to identify exciting trends which support the plans
• Developing and managing campaigns and targeted initiatives
• Engaging with the legal directories and award submission process
• Event preparation
• Tracking and analysing new business leads through MBD activity
• Producing high end marketing materials

The background of the successful Business Development Manager will include:

• Degree educated and having a minimum of 3 years experience working in a professional services environment
• Strong commercial awareness
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Having a strong client focus and understand the priorities of both internal and external clients
• Taking responsibility of individual tasks and their personal development
