Business Development Manager - Global Regulatory

One of our key clients are looking to bring in an ambitious Legal BD professional to take on a newly created role working across their regulatory and commercial sector area. The role will have a global feel to it and being based from the London office you will be working across the European market. We believe this would be a superb opportunity for an individual either looking to take their first step into a BDM post or someone who may have 1-2 years' experience at this level.

Core responsibilities will include;

• Work across the sector taking a lead on client led activities ensuring that possible cross selling opportunities within the firm are explored and working closely with the partners to drive revenue generating opportunities.
• Be involved in the client feedback programme, working in tandem with the fee earners and partners to ensure that best in class client care is coordinated.
• Take on the responsibility for strategically advising on RFP's and proposals, working with the central pitch team to customise these for the specific group.
• Help develop and coordinated the delivery of sector specific marketing campaigns and initiatives both on a local regional level and also from a global firmwide perspective. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the brand within specific markets and regions.

Whilst previous sector knowledge would be an advantage, we don't see this as a necessity to be considered for the role, we would however like someone to have had prior experience of operating within a Legal BD role previously and demonstrate a keen interest in the sector and working on a global basis.
