Business Development Manager (BDM 12 month contract)


A leading international law firm, are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) on an interim 12 month contract. This role is based in the City of London and is close to Moorgate Tube Station.

This firm provides their clients with commercially aware legal advice and have offices across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The firm are incredibility people focused and have a great emphasis on recruiting and retaining staff. Their client base includes leading financial institutions and a number of current FTSE and Fortune Global 500 companies.

The Business Development Manager will have responsibility for managing and developing one of the firm's programme clients as well as broadening our relationships and delivering significant growth in revenue and profitability from other key clients within a specific sector.

The Business Development Manager will report to the Sector Leader.

The Business Development Manager will be a key source of knowledge within the Marketing and Business Development team concerning the work of the sector team. The Business Development Manager will develop a high level knowledge about the type of legal advice and services officer by the sector group.

You will need to have a minimum of four years industry sector experience in a marketing, sales business development role. You will need previous client management experience along with client account management.

You will need to to manage the end to end pitch process. and have a familiarity of CRM systems, document management systems, intranet and websites.

The Business Development Manager will be self confident, energetic, enthusiastic with drive and ambition. You will also be a team player and have a logical approach.
