Business Development Manager
we are delighted to be working on an exciting opportunity to manage the expansion, business development and operations of a formal network of insurance law firms around the world. The successful candidate will act as Business Manager and lead the network executive office supported by the chairperson and board of the network and the resources of the member firms where appropriate.l
The network executive office supports the drive to bring in new members and offer clear BD and marketing benefits to members and a high quality service to a growing portfolio of clients. Acting as the sole full-time network manager, this varied and evolving position will require a breadth of experience in what is effectively an early stage not-for-profit organisation. Other elements of the role will involve governance, risk and compliance and budget management. As well as the management, development and ongoing maintenance of the website, content and social media campaigns, the Business Manager also works closely with the network's PR agency to manage external communications and is responsible for all aspects of Network promotion.
We are keen to speak to experienced candidates with a background in business development within a global professional services, insurance or legal environment. We are looking for creative self-starters who would relish the opportunity to develop and evolve the role as the network grows.
As well as excellent relationship, communication and influencing skills at a senior level, strong project management experience working to tight timescales and with restricted budgets are key skills necessary to be successful in the role.
