Business Development Manager
Ambition are working in partnership with a household Legal brand to bring in a BD professional at management level to take on a newly created role. The role has been designed to sit within their corporate practice but it will also have a focus on IP and the Energy sector. Delivering a broad remit and exciting role for someone to take on, unlike some roles in the market the position is not particularly pitch heavy, combining a range of BD/CRM duties which include being involved in the strategy side of BD planning.
The role will work closely with the current Senior Manager, so in our opinion is the perfect platform for a manager with 1-2 years' experience or potentially an experienced senior executive seeking that first managerial post.
Key elements of the role will include;
*Driving client development across the sector, working with clients based in the UK and on an international basis.
*Be responsible for devising and implementing the BD budget to achieve the overall business objectives, which will require establishing and maintaining a close relationship with senior partners and global heads.
*Project managing the delivering of key global campaigns and projects raising the profile of the practice area in the UK & International markets.
*Providing strategic high-level advice to senior partners and the external client base.
We are ideally looking for someone with a successful Legal business development background however prior exposure to the sectors/practice areas mentioned is not essential to be considered for the role.
