Business Development Manager - Transport
London | International Law Firm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Business Development Manager to join a high-performing BD & Marketing team within a leading international law firm. Sitting within a strategically important Transport sector group, this is a visible role working closely with senior partners to drive growth, strengthen client relationships and elevate the group's profile in the market.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to play a key role in shaping business development strategy for a globally recognised practice.
This is a broad and impactful BD role focused on supporting revenue growth and raising the profile of the Transport practice both regionally and globally.
Key responsibilities will include:
Working closely with partners to develop and deliver strategic business development plans
Identifying new client opportunities and cross-sell initiatives across the wider firm
Supporting key client relationship programmes and client targeting initiatives
Driving thought leadership, campaigns and profile-raising initiatives across the sector
Proactively bringing new ideas and commercial insights to partners to support growth
This role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to genuinely influence the direction and success of the practice.
We are keen to speak with commercially aware BD professionals who thrive in a collaborative, partner-facing environment.
You will likely have:
Experience in a Business Development or Marketing role within a professional services environment (law firm experience advantageous)
Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior partners
A commercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and translate ideas into action
Excellent organisation and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
A proactive, positive approach and a genuine interest in industry-led BD
An interest in the transport or infrastructure sectors would be beneficial but is not essential.
