Business Development Manager

I am working with a leading advisory firm who is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.

Role Purpose: This role will play a key role in making it easy for Partners to confidently win new business and retain existing clients. Working across the full BD mix, this role will require you to build strong and influential relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver strategic BD activities that grow efficiency, skills, and confidence across the business.
  • Lead sector thought leadership campaigns to increase market share by creating new business opportunities.
  • Advise partners on pitch strategy and messaging, helping to embed a culture of best practice to improve efficiency.

About the Candidate:

This is a full BD mix role in a fast-paced, influential, and respected team, so you will have experience of delivering strategic BD initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders. It's an externally facing role, so the ability to build your personal network is key.


Skills and Qualities:

  • Previous experience in a business development role from a professional or financial services firm
  • Strong critical and commercial reasoning
  • First-rate written and oral communication skills
  • A collaborative, team-oriented, and 'Firm first' mindset
  • A high level of integrity and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
