Business Development Director


Business Development Director - Newly created role.


I am working with a leading consultancy that help their clients unlock opportunity and deliver business impact, who are looking for a positive, energetic, and ambitious leader to join their growing New Business team.
Joining as a Business Development Director you will identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve probability and help the business grow.


This is a fantastic opportunity to joining an exciting, forward thinking, and innovative consultancy. You will have lots of opportunity to work across a range of sectors from sports to tech, fashion ,FMCG and everything in between.
Working directly with their Head of Sales & Marketing, co-CEO, and the wider team, you'll be an integral part of a Sales & Marketing team of six.

The role covers all areas of business development from prospecting to collating and leading opportunity teams, crafting proposals and leading pitch rehearsals. You'll be organising and leading new business meetings, negotiating and closing sales, and onboarding new clients. You'll be a brilliant relationship builder, have sharp attention to detail, powerful communication and storytelling skills, and your organisational skills will be second-to-none.

You will need to have significant business development experience, really understand how to get the best thinking out of internal teams to craft a winning approach for clients, excellent prospecting skills.


Previous experience working in a Management Consultancy/ Professional services firm is highly desired for this role.
