Business Development Coordinator

I am working with a leading property consultancy who is looking for a Business Development Coordinator to join their team.

As Business Development Coordinator you will provide BD support to three Project Managers. The teams work across a range of sectors including Office, Hospitality, Healthcare, Residential and Higher Education. The role will support the BD activities across the teams working alongside an Executive Assistant and Junior Team Assistant and under the line management of a senior partner of the firm. You will also have close connections to the central marketing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bid process and creating high quality bids and presentations following an established process. The role involves working with partners and other relevant stakeholders to secure contributions and ensure content is aligned to win themes and compliant with bidding criteria using Indesign and Powerpoint.

In addition, the role includes supporting the PM teams in their wider BD activities including creating BD collateral, managing tender portals, completing PQQs and Standard Questionnaires, pipeline tracking, market research, lead identification and proactively maintaining a library of bid content including CVs and project case studies.

Skills and Experience

• A team player with a proactive approach to bid coordination
• Excellent editing and proofreading skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and multi-task projects
• Knowledge of pipeline tracking would be desirable but not essential
• Intermediate or expert user of Adobe Indesign and Powerpoint or prepared to learn and upskill in this key area
• BD experience gained in construction, professional services or consultancy would be useful
• Proficient experience of Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word and Excel
