We are working with a leading professional services firm that is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. About the Role:

The Business Development & Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the team to execute their strategic plans. The overarching purpose of the Practice Development team is to retain and maximise existing clients, attract new ones, and manage and enhance our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in developing, sending, and measuring the success of multi-channel communications, including email, social media, and website.
  • Analyse marketing and communication data and metrics, providing reports to the team.
  • Assist BD managers with sector and service marketing activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date data in the firm's CRM system.
  • Create and refine prospective target lists for BD campaigns.
  • Provide support for events, including webinars.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and prospect research.
  • Assist in the production of bid and tender documents and presentations, including proofreading and document management.
  • Contribute to the production of reports, collateral, and web content.

Essential criteria:

  • Proficient in Social Media: Demonstrated ability to effectively use social media platforms for marketing and communication purposes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Adept at identifying and solving challenges, with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • Creative Thinking: Confident in suggesting innovative ideas and thinking outside the box.
  • Research and Analysis: Proficient in conducting research and analysing data.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Digital Marketing and CRM Knowledge: Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Enthusiastic and Energetic: Eager to drive initiatives and make things happen.
  • Deadline-Focused: Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Experience using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
