Business Development & Campaigns Manager

We are delighted to be working on a newly created role with a leading litigation funder, to join their established and growing team as a Business Development Manager. The role will centre around two concepts of being client and market led and also thinking of market leading campaign and initiatives the firm can launch to harness the brand and continue to build upon their reputation in targeted market segments.

You will be someone who can think commercially and come up with ideas that can be implemented within the firm. The platform the firm can offer will be different to your traditional law firm environment so we believe it would suit someone who wants to take on more visibility and accountability within a smaller team environment.

Core aspects of the role will include;

  • Come up with ideas for raising the firms profile in specific markets, whilst you won't be doing all of the written aspect of this, the firm will expect you to be the lead on how to put together effective campaigns and projects.
  • Evaluate the current client base and identify opportunities for the firm for revenue growth within this client base, you will also be responsible for researching potential new client bases and then putting an action plan to explore the business opportunity further.
  • Take overall management responsibility for the marketing and BD plans, this will included budgeting and monitoring ROI to see further improvements.
  • Become the go to person in the business for implementing best client practice, advising other stakeholders in the business on this matter and leading the firms overall approach to this.

We believe this role to be an exciting mix of external facing BD work alongside the platform to come up with marketing campaign management idea's giving you a great deal of scope and influence within the role. It would ideally suit someone with a track record within professional services either at management or senior management level, particularly if you would want to operate in a different environment to your traditional partnership setup.
