I am delighted to be partnered with an exceptional US law firm in their search for a Billing Coordinator to join their London office. The role reports into an experience Billing manager and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Billing Coordinator to join a great team.
Day duties of the role:
- Produce and circulate prebills for lawyer review; apply requested edits and finalise invoices
- Confirm all billing activity aligns with applicable Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs)
- Ensure all client-specific billing instructions are accurately recorded and maintained
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of eBilling platforms and coordinate with the eBilling Team to submit invoices and track their progress
- Contribute to the management of Alternative Fee Arrangements, including annual review and validation
- Communicate with client billing contacts, with CSL approval, to support invoice submission and collection processes
- Regularly review client financial pipeline (unbilled work and receivables); discuss status updates with CSLs and record notes in the Pipeline Control System
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in the firm's billing platforms and related tools
- Generate custom billing and financial reports for lawyers and clients upon request
- Review time and expense submissions for clarity, grammar accuracy, and consistency
- Oversee and update billing details and arrangement information for all allocated clients and matters
- Collaborate closely with Client Service Lawyers (CSLs) to support prompt invoice generation and collection efforts
