Billing Assistant

My client is an established London based law firm who are looking for a Billing Assistant to join their collaborative finance team. This role will be suitable for someone who has previous billing experience with in the legal field and ideally Elite 3e.

Key responsibilities:

  • Processing of bills/credit notes daily on 3e in line with the solicitor's accounts rules and firm policy
  • Providing support to fee earners and secretaries with billing queries and producing reports when necessary
  • Sending bills in line with our centralised billing process
  • Process time transfers and write offs when requested by fee earners/secretaries
  • Assist with firmwide and client credit control queries via telephone and email and updating ARCS with notes
  • Generating monthly statement from ARCS
  • Provide general support to finance function
  • Assisting with the post go live 3e user group and planning of further 3e enhancements

Key requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar billing role, with experience of using 3e
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload, particularly at month and year end
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with fee earners and clients at all levels
