Billing Assistant

I am delighted to be working with an established UK Law firm in their search for a Billing Assistant to join their London office. Joining a billing team of 3 this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing Law firm.

The day to day includes:

  • Assist the billing coordinators with upload of e-billing LEDES files.
  • Finalize bills.
  • Preparing WIP and managing WIP for distribution to fee earners and partners.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for queries and requests from lawyers across the UK and Germany.
  • Request the opening of new case files.
  • Manage disbursements.
  • Oversee compliance with internal billing procedures.

The ideal candidate's experience:

  • This position is an entry level role, but previous finance or office experience is desirable.
  • Ability to manage a busy work workload.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Professional attitude.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of people throughout different levels of the business.
  • Excellent IT skills, with strong background in excel.
