Billing & Revenue Assistant

I am currently partnering with one of my Prestigious Law Firm clients, to assist with the Recruitment of a Billing & Revenue Assistant position on a 14-month fixed term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early on in their career (around 1-2 years' experience within finance) to develop their career further and define their career within Billing, Revenue and Credit Control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices submitted to the finance team.
  • Responding to requests for credit notes and pro forma invoices.
  • Monitoring the Accounts/Billing inbox..
  • Reviewing and inputting disbursement invoices.
  • Maintaining accurate client and matter records, including charge‑out rates and key data.
  • Assisting with E‑billing submissions.
  • Managing a portfolio of smaller Partner debts.
  • Regularly reviewing aged debt and liaising with Partners and fee earners via email, virtual meetings, or in person.
  • Managing your Collections to‑do list to ensure timely debtor reminders and follow‑ups.
  • Maintaining an organised diary and clear notes.
  • Escalating aged debts where appropriate.
  • Supporting monthly reporting on high‑exposure clients.
  • Assisting with the allocation of funds received in settlement of bills, ensuring banking deadlines are met.
  • Handling internal and external client queries via phone and email, including taking card payments.
  • Monitoring credit control and billing inboxes to ensure prompt responses.

Key requirements:

  • Around two years' experience
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • A results‑driven mindset.
