Senior Business Development Manager/Business Development Manager - R&D Incentives

£50,000-£60,000+

I am working on behalf of an international consultancy group who is looking for a Senior BD Manger or a BD Manager to join their growing sales team.

This is a very consultative Sales role where you'll be required to hit targets and achieve revenue goals. There is a high earning potential, rapid progression into senior roles and multiple incentive opportunities

Responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting clients and partner organisations face to face and by telephone

  • 100% New business selling to Group Tax Managers, CFO's, MD's and FD's

  • Negotiating and closing deals with organisations of all sizes

  • Managing client engagements on a technical, legal and commercial basis

  • Developing a strong sales pipeline and reporting sales activity

  • Maintaining and developing strong customer relationships

  • Assisting in the development of the practice through networking and business seminars

  • Keeping up to date with changes in related tax legislation

Skills and Personal Qualities:

  • Strong commercial service-based sales experience

  • Good knowledge of financial aspects of Company Corporation tax schemes (desirable)

  • Experience with and ability to negotiate with and relate to senior board level individuals

  • Ability to explain/ describe/ promote a complex value proposition

  • Independent self starter who is highly motivated, willing to travel with a high level of interpersonal and presentation skills
