Business Development Manager - Financial Institutions

I'm working with a highly respected global law firm to hire a Business Development Manager who will play a key role in driving the strategy and market profile of their Financial Institutions, Digital Assets and Blockchain, and FinTech groups.

This is an opportunity to step into a genuinely exciting space, working at the intersection of financial services, digital innovation and emerging technology, while being part of a collaborative, well‑established Marketing and BD function.

You'll be joining a firm that invests heavily in its people and operates across major international markets. The team is known for its supportive culture, strong partner engagement and ability to deliver high‑impact initiatives that shape the firm's global profile.

Key responsibilities:

• Driving and supporting the Marketing and Business Development strategy across Financial Institutions, Digital Assets and Blockchain, and FinTech.
• Managing pitches, RFPs and new business initiatives, including coaching and supporting partners to win work.
• Developing action plans for key client opportunities and helping build long‑term, commercially valuable relationships.
• Leading standout profile‑raising activity, including cross‑practice events and the firm's flagship Digital Assets Summit in London.
• Working closely with global BD colleagues to ensure sector plans, campaigns and marketing programmes are aligned internationally.
• Building connections with industry bodies and supporting strategic sponsorships across the sector.

What's needed:

• Strong experience in marketing and business development within legal or professional services.
• Exposure to financial services, FinTech or sector‑focused BD work is ideal.
• Confident, proactive and commercially minded.
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and managing multiple projects at pace.
