Audit Supervisor

I am working with a reputable mid-tier accountancy firm based in Central London who are seeking an Audit Supervisor to join their team.

The high regarded accountancy practice is known for their high profile clientele and varied industries. This includes but not limited to: not-for-profit, media, property, restaurants, TV, high-net worth individuals and forensic international companies. The accountancy firm provide a full suite of accountancy services and has massively grown their headcount in recent years through delivering high quality work. The firm offers flexible working hours and work from home.

The Role
As an Audit Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team in conducting financial and operational audits for clients. The role works closely with different partners and the firm provides career development and progressions. Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP/FRS102.
  • Work on a audit to completion within budget.
  • Supervise trainees through reviewing their work and giving them performance evaluations.
  • Report to an Audit Manager or Partner and be responsible for the planning and executions of the audits in accordance with International Auditing Standards.

The Candidate
As an Audit Supervisor, candidates will need to be ACA qualified and demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
Requirements include:

  • Previous audit experience.
  • Proficient technical skill.
  • Leadership skills which includes leading jobs on-site.
  • Desirable but not mandatory - newly qualified and possess knowledge in software packages.
