Audit Senior Manager - Not-for-profit (NFP)

I am working with a Top 30 Audit and Advisory firm based in Central London who are looking for an Audit Senior Manager for their Not-For-Profit team.

The Firm
The 25 partner firm with around 300 employees pride themselves on delivering partner-led services tailored to entrepreneurial small and medium enterprises, large corporations, Not-for-Profit (NFP) organisations and high-net individuals. The NFP team collaborates with a diverse range of clients, including charities, trade unions, and universities. They have a great reputation in the accountancy world and incredible high staff retention rate.

The Role
As an Audit Senior Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients within the NFP sector and oversee client relationships, ensuring exceptional client service and conducting high-quality audits. There will also be an opportunity in the NFP realm for participation in marketing events, bidding for new projects and contributing to articles. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing statutory accounts in compliance with Charities SORP, Further and Higher Education SORP and FRS102.
  • Supervising junior staff and providing support for technical queries and professional development, including periodic appraisals.

The Candidate
The ideal Audit Senior Manager will be ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent with managerial experience in accountancy practice. They will have proven audit experience in the NFP sector and have strong leadership and supervisory skills.
