This Top 50 firm in north London is looking for an audit senior with NFP/charity/academies experience to join the team due to rapid continued growth. Due to recent and ongoing investment in their people and the business, they are a forward-thinking, progressive firm, who regularly seek to push their standards, investing in modern software and the implementation of new tech.

The Role
As an Audit Senior in this firm, you will be a vital member of the team, and your efforts will be noted. Taking responsibility for the audit process, you will be working with a range of clients across the NFP, charity, and academies space.

Expecting further rapid growth over the coming years, this role will enable you to gain multiple opportunities for career progression within the business.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out audits from planning and completion
• Conducting independent examination assignments
• Accounts preparation work in compliance with the Charities SORP, FRS 102 and the Companies Act
• Managing and coaching a team of juniors/semi-seniors
• Attending finalisation meetings with clients
• Some work with charity tax returns
• Build and develop relationships with clients
• Maintain awareness of up-to-date Auditing Standards and charity law standards

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Nearly or Newly Qualified ACCA/ACA
• Proven experience with NFP/Academies/Charity clients
• Good experience with UK GAAP and SORP
