Audit Assistant Manager - Southend-on-Sea

I am currently working with a Top 10 firm who are looking for an Audit Assistant Manager for their Southend-on-Sea office.

The Role
As an Audit Assistant Manager, there will be a clear progression plan to get to Audit Manager. You will be surrounded by a friendly team who cares about their client care. You will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and offering valuable insights.
  • Review financial statements and audit documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and communicate audit findings, recommendations, and areas for improvements to clients.


The Candidate
The Audit Assistant Manager will have experience within a practice accountancy firm at a managerial capacity. You will have working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP and be ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualified.
