Audit Assistant Manager - Media and Tech Clients

Ambition is partnering with an award-winning firm based in Central London to hire an Audit Assistant Manager or an experienced Senior/Supervisor for their progressive media and tech team.

Role Overview: You will work closely with clients, offering advice to entrepreneurial fast-growing companies, OMBs, and listed businesses. The media and tech team is the fastest-growing division within the firm, which has a strong track record of promoting from within. This growth offers numerous opportunities for future progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the senior on audits, reporting directly to the manager.
  • Manage audits from planning through to completion, including drafting financial statements, management letters, and letters of representation.
  • Supervise and manage a team of up to 5 staff.
  • Brief and delegate work to junior audit team members.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to clients' accounting systems and controls.
  • Appraise team members following audit completions.

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA qualified, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with electronic audit programs; experience with CaseWare is beneficial.
  • 6 months+ post-qualification experience in audit within the UK.
  • Experience with tech and media clients is advantageous.
