What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing accounts using systems such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
  • Supporting onsite audits as part of an experienced audit team
  • Drafting corporation tax computations and assisting with client queries
  • Reviewing and actioning points raised by managers and tax specialists
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients on day-to-day matters
  • Visiting clients across the region and building strong professional relationships

What We're Looking For

We value enthusiasm, potential, and a genuine desire to learn-not just prior experience.

Essential

  • AAT Level 3/4, or a degree, or 2 A‑Levels at A*-C (or equivalent)
  • Ambition to build a long-term career in accountancy
  • Strong communication skills across face-to-face, phone and email
  • Good IT skills (especially Excel)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive problem solver with strong organisational skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel to client sites

Nice to Have

  • Relevant audit or accounts experience
  • Familiarity with software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or Iris
  • Experience delivering excellent client or customer service
