Appointment-taking Insolvency Director

One of the world's leading cross-border restructuring, forensic and insolvency independent advisors is seeking to expand their London presence with the appointment of an experienced insolvency and formal restructuring Director.

They are best known for delivering on international, complex and highly litigious insolvency cases from around the world and the London office is one that is set for expansion. The firm have laid out a 3-5 year business plan for the UK and it starts with recruiting this Director position.

The role of Director in London will be to both lead on highly complex insolvency and restructuring appointments and to take joint insolvency appointments by developing the existing client base of work referrers. London already has an established Insolvency Practitioner and so as Director, you will heavily support this individual with targeted marketing initiatives and driving new business from the UK and London market.

London is no different and the successful applicant for this Insolvency & Restructuring Director role will be someone that demonstrates genuine drive and career ambition to fully utilise their JIEB qualification for operating as an appointment taking Insolvency Practitioner.

The key attributes required for the role are as follows:

  • Qualified (JIEB) to take joint appointments.
  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience across insolvency, restructuring and investigation.
  • Ideally, although not essential, prior experience working on cross-border matters (Cayman / BVI or within Asia).
  • An existing London network of contacts in the legal, bank, ABL and accountancy market.
  • Highly career motivated in order to operate effectively in a dual work delivery and work winning capacity.
  • Strong people management skills.
