Accounts Senior / Semi-Senior

Ambition is delighted to be working with an established accountancy practice who is looking for an Accounts Senior / Semi-Senior to join the firm. The role will be based both in office (North West London) and from home for the right person.

The Firm

A well regarded accountancy practice who offer a full suite of services to an reputed portfolio of clients. The firm are currently growing, having recently brought in a new Partner and added staff over the last 2 years and are based in North West London / Hertfordshire border.


The Role

As Accounts Senior / Semi-Senior, the role will manage a portfolio of clients, providing a full year end accounting service and basic corporation tax computations. Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and sole trader accounts within deadline
• FRS102 and FRS105 statutory accounts and basic tax computation
• Reviewing of year end accounts from junior staff
• Mentoring & Coaching

The Candidate

Applicants will need to have recent experience working in a chartered accountants in an Accounts based role. This will ideally have extensive working knowledge to a range of statutory / year end accounts production software. Additional key traits the firm are looking for are

• Technically strong on FRS102, 105 and UK GAAP accounting principles
• Client focused
• Ability to prepare statutory accounts for companies and other entities
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work under own initiative and in office - North West London
