Your Role:

• Reviewing juniors work before handing over to partner
• Mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Preparation of statutory accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
• Preparation of Corporation Tax computations.
• Preparation of Personal Tax returns.
• Engaging with a variation of clients and maintaining excellent working relationships.

• You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts and VAT returns for clients using a suite of software services.
• You will also assist with the preparation of annual financial statements.

What you need:

• ACCA or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within an accounting practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience delegating and reviewing the work of others.
• Good knowledge of VAT
• Strong UK GAAP knowledge
• Experience of online accounting packages, in particular Xero is essential
• Experience of Caseware Accounts Production Software would be advantageous
