Accounts Payable Coordinator

I am delighted to be paired with an outstanding boutique law firm based in the city in their search for an Accounts Payable Coordinator. The role reports directly into the CFO and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal accounts payable specialist to join a great team.

Day Duties of the role:

• Entering all incoming purchase ledger invoices into the accounting system.
• Ensuring all incoming invoices are approved for payment by the designated person.
• Handling expense processing.
• Posting company credit card transactions.
• Organizing a weekly payment run for due invoices and expenses.
• Processing and reconciling transactions related to Counsel and Expert fees.
• Reconciling supplier ledgers and statements as needed.
• Assisting with conflict checks and opening new matters, as required.
• Participating in ad-hoc duties and project work, as needed.
• Engaging in the annual audit process.
• Supporting the legal cashiering function during busy periods and for holiday cover.

The right candidate will have:

• Essential: Previous Accounts Payable experience in a law firm.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
• Beneficial but not essential: Experience with Aderant Expert.
