​Ambition today announced the promotion of Nicky Acuña Ocaña to President – Americas, UK & Europe, marking a significant milestone in the firm’s continued global growth and commitment to inclusive, high-performance leadership.

Nicky has been with Ambition for 18 years and has built an outstanding reputation for hiring and developing exceptional talent, creating inclusive cultures, and leading teams that consistently deliver results.

Among her many achievements, Nicky was instrumental in launching Ambition’s U.S. business from the ground up. Her leadership has helped establish Ambition as a trusted advisor across both the UK and U.S. markets, while laying the foundation for long-term growth across Europe.

In addition to her operational leadership, Nicky is a visible advocate for the industry. She hosts Ambition’s Leaders with Ambition podcast, speaks regularly at industry events on hiring, retention, ED&I, and leadership, and is widely recognised for her thought leadership and partnership building across the sector.

She also founded and continues to chair Ambition’s Allyship, Belonging and Inclusion Committee, driving policies, training, and initiatives across the group.

Her impact has been recognized externally as well, including being named to the SIA Global Power 150 Women in Staffing list, celebrating women shaping the future of the industry.
