VAT Manager

Job Title: VAT Tax Manager
Location: London
Package: Up to £65,000 + benefits

A Top 30 practice based in Central London who have been operating for 100 years are looking for an experienced VAT Tax Manager for their market leading Tax team. the firm in question pride themselves on their market insight and their ability to help drive businesses forward. This position would suit someone from a Top 10 firm who is looking to break into a management role or someone from a well established VAT Tax team in a London based Accountancy Practice.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, including preparing and reviewing complex VAT
• Liaise with and manage working relationships with HMRC
• Work closely with the Tax Partners on ad hoc Finance projects
• Manage members within the Tax and help train and develop junior members in the firm
• Take an active part in the firms business development activities
  
  Requirements for this role include:
  
  
• CTA or AIIT qualified (or equivalent)
• Experience planning and advising on VAT related matters
• Experience advising on cross border issues
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
