Senior External Communications Manager

We are working in partnership with a global law firm who are looking to bring on board a Communications professional at Senior Management level. The role will be pivotal in driving the firms brand & external comms strategy in London & will be involved in campaigns and projects with global peers. The role will be working with senior partners within the firm & will report directly into the Head of Communications also based in London.


Experience to demonstrate;

-Managing strategic relationships with the legal & wider press, so demonstrating a track record of the will be required.


-Crisis comms management, the firm will lean on this individual for direction in dealing with a wide variety of issues & stories so we will be looking for candidates to demonstrate prior exposure to this.


-Strategic project management skills, someone who is able to guide a team and is used to working closely with & influencing key senior stakeholders within a firm.


-Exposure working across international jurisdictions would be advantageous.


The role will also have line management of a team of 3 individuals based in London as such prior experience within this field will be essential.


The preference would be for you to have previous legal comms management experience however we may be open to looking at individuals from wider professional services.
